Nov 1942: Gassing by lime, water and chlorine


The Nazis attempted to gas Jews by locking them for days in sealed stationary train carriages strewn with lime, water and chlorine. If the Jews managed to survive this attempted gassing, they were sent to Treblinka, Belzec and Sobibor to be slaughtered.
